Legalization

All documents issued in Belgium which should be used in Thailand, have to be legalized by the Royal Thai Embassy.
Procedure:
- Let the documents legalized first at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (27, rue des Petits Carmes, 1000 Bruxelles)
- Come to the Royal Thai Embassy with these documents (Originals + one copy of each page)
Cost: 15 € per stamp
Waiting time: 1 to 2 opening day(s) (can also be shipped with an already stamped envelope + address)
Power of Attorney

Proof of Nationality

Request for a certificate of nationality or affidavit of law
These documents are mostly asked by the city hall (for example, a wedding)
Documents to bring for each certificate:
- A copy of the Thai identity card
- A copy of the Thai passport
Attention: If another person comes to the Embassy to fulfill the administrative formalities, this person needs a power of attorney in Thai as well as one copy of his or her ID-card.

Certificate of Good Conduct

The Royal Thai Embassy cannot issue this document. Besides, it can be gotten in Thailand with a letter of attorney.
Documents to bring:
- 3 identity size photos in color
- 3 copies of the Thai identity card
- 3 copies of the Thai passport
Procedure:
- Bring the above-mentioned documents
- Take the fingerprints
- Write a letter of attorney
