On 4 September 2012 Ambassador Apichart Chinwanno hosted a dinner in honor of the delegation from the Thai-EU Business Council (TEUBC) headed by Mr. Payungsak Chartsutipol, Chairman, The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) during their visit to Belgium and Paris during 4-6 September 2012. The delegation met with DG Environment to discuss the concerns of the Thai private sector with the EU Timber Regulation and the FLEGT (Forest Law Enforcement, Governance, and Trade) framework, and DG Trade.
