Somewhere between here and now tells a story of a woman who has just returned from a trip to Thailand and neighbouring countries and felt reluctant to go home. The movie was mainly shot in Brussels and was (as said by the director himself) inspired by this wonderful city.

Ambassador Pisan has congratulated him and his team.  They also discussed the possibility of making a film on Buddhism.

Mr. Boonjing is a son of a Belgian and Thai parents and grew up in a small Belgian  town where German is spoken.  Since he was young, his family has, as often as they possibly could, visited their relatives in Ubol Ratchathani in Thailand, his mother hometown, where the international forest temple or monastery is located.
