On 19 April 2012 at the Philippines Embassy, Ambassador Apichart Chinwanno, together with ASEAN Ambassadors and representatives from Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Brunei, Philippine, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore and Lao PDR had a working lunch with Baroness Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the European Commission. Both sides exchanged views on the 19th ASEAN-European Union Ministerial Meeting (AEMM) held in Brunei on 26-27 April 2012, where Baroness Catherine Ashton will lead a strong EU delegation comprised of Foreign Ministers and high representatives from 27 member states of the EU. After leaving Brunei, Baroness Catherine Ashton will visit Myanmar and Thailand accordingly.
