On 2 June 2012, Mrs. Arunrung Phothong Humpfreys, Charge d’Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels joined the charity festival organized by the Thaise Vrienden Wevelgem (Thai Freindship Wevelgem) in Welvegem (centrum) together with Mr. Carl Decaluwe, the Governor of West Flanders Province, and his spouse, and the Mayor of Wevelgem and the Executive team of Wevelgem town. There were more than 600 people attended the charity night. The proceeds from the event will be used to buy a tractor to donate to the farmer in Surin Province, Thailand.
