On 18th May 2012, the Office of Agricultural Affairs, Brussels, organised a meeting entitled “Exchanging views on Opportunities and Challenges of Thai Food Export to the EU” at the Royal Thai Embassy, Brussels, Belgium. The meeting was presided and inaugurated by Ms. Supatra Thanasaeneewattana, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, with Ms. Tritaporn Khomapat, Director of the Office of Agricultural Affairs, Brussels, giving concluding remarks, summarising the results of the discussions.
The EU importers participating in this meeting include representatives of the Association of Thai Businesses in the UK (ATBUK); importer/Oriental product supermarket Tang Frères S.A. from France; importers Dena-Asia B.V.;Thai Mas B.V.; and Thai Shop Amsterdam from the Netherlands; importers Thai Bell B.V.B.A.; Thai Original Product; Sona International SPRL and the Kam Yuan Supermarket from Belgium.
