The Standing Committee on Legal Affairs, Justice and Human Rights of the House of Representatives of Thailand led by Pol.Gen.Viroon Phuensaen, Chairman of the Committee, and members of the delegation paid an official visit to Belgium on 2 July 2012. The Committee visited the European External Action Service (EEAS) and was briefed on the role and responsibility of the EEAS, relations between Thailand and the EU, and the EU Timber Regulation. After the briefing, Ambassador Apichart Chinwanno hosted a lunch in honour of the Chairman and members of the Standing Committee at the Thai Residence. Members of Team Thailand and Embassy staff also attended the lunch.
