The Prince Mahidol Award Foundation is currently accepting nominations for individual (s) or institution(s) for their outstanding performance and/or research that contributes directly to the betterment of society. Nominations submitted online http://www.princemahidolaward.org/nomination-form.th.php or by regular mail must be received before 31 May 2013.

Two Prince Mahidol Awards are conferred on an annual basis, one in medicine and one in public health. The Prince Mahidol Award consists of (1) a medal (2) a certificate and (3) a prize money of US $100,000.

The Prince Mahidol Award is an international award conferred on individual(s) or institution(s). It is established by royal permission in honour of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkla. It is the only award ceremony presided over by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand every year. His Majesty the King has graciously granted Royal Patronage to the Prince Mahidol Award Foundation.
