The Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels organized the Workshop on “EU update 2013”, gathering Thai economic officers from all over Europe to meet and exchange their perspectives on European Economy in Brussels during June 5 – 8, 2013.
The meeting was commenced by group visit of the delegates to the Paliamentarium following by the BBQ dinner hosted by Ambassador Apichat Chinwanno at his residence.
On June 6, 2013; Ambassador Apichat Chinwanno delivered an opening remark following by the presentations from the honorable guest speakers representing the EU institutions and European think tanks including the EU official, academia and researcher in the relevant field. Moreover, the officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Embassies and the Government agencies in Europe also took part in presenting their views on the current EU economic situation and its impact toward the third country especially Thailand.
On the last day, the delegates had a chance to visit Brugge, the World Cultural Heritage town. During their journey, the delegates also enjoyed the presentations about Thailand and the World Heritage.
