On 17 June 2013 Minister Chulamanee Chartsuwan presented prizes to the winners of the “Sawasdee Thailand!” drawing competition.
The Royal Thai Embassy organized the “Sawasdee Thailand !” Project during April-May 2013 to provide information to students about the different facets of Thailand. A total of 96 students and their teachers from Institut Marie Immaculée-Montjoie (participated in the project on 30 April), The European School of Brussels (Uccle) (participated in the project on 6 May) and St. Joseph School (participated in the project on 16 and 23 May) took part in the “Sawasdee Thailand!” Project.
After their visit to the Embassy, students from Institut Marie Immaculée-Montjoie and The European School of Brussels (Uccle) sent drawings of their impressions of Thailand as part of a drawing competition. The winners of the drawing competition are as follows:
– First Prize Lyne Dongo Yeno, Grade 4, Institut Marie Immaculée-Montjoie;
– Second Prize Kossai Dhamer, Grade 4, Institut Marie Immaculée-Montjoie;
– Third Prize Jhansen Camindo Grade 4, Institut Marie Immaculée-Montjoie; and
– Honorable Mention Mateusz Maksimiuk, Grade 4, Institut Marie Immaculée-Montjoie and Ambre Wastin, Grade 3, The European School of Brussels (Uccle).
The winners received a certificate of recognition from the Embassy and a voucher to enjoy a Thai dinner their families at The Blue Elephant, Les Larmes du Tigre or Villa Singha in Brussels.
