On Thursday 10 October 2013 Ambassador Apichart Chinwanno hosted a dinner in honour of participants in the “Sawasdee Thailand!” Project from Institut Marie Immaculée-Montjoie, The European School of Brussels (Uccle) and St. Joseph School. Guests included the winners and parents of the “Sawasdee Thailand!” drawing competition, as well as the principals and teachers from the 3 schools, and Embassy staff involved in the project.
Ambassador Apichart presented the principals of the schools with greeting cards made from the drawings that won the drawing competition, and a collection of books about Thai society, culture and food to help the students to further their interest and study of Thailand.
The Royal Thai Embassy organized the “Sawasdee Thailand!” Project during April-May 2013 to provide information to students about the different facets of Thailand. Approximately 100 students and their teachers from Institut Marie Immaculée-Montjoie, The European School of Brussels (Uccle) and St. Joseph School took part in the “Sawasdee Thailand!” Project.
