On Friday 14 February 2014, Mr. Jef Neve, Belgium’s noted jazz pianist, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Nopadol to invite Ambassador Nopadol to attend his upcoming performance with Thailand’s leading saxophonist Koh Mr. Saxman at the Leuven Jazz Festival on 20 March 2014 in Leuven. They also discussed the possibility of organizing a mini-jazz concert featuring Mr. Neve and Koh Mr. Saxman in March 2014. They were joined by Mr. Pieter Kindt, Mr. Neve’s manager, and Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Minister, and Mrs. Arunrung Photongs Humphreys, Minister Counsellor, from the Embassy.
Mr. Neve had performed in Thailand on 21 March for then Crown Prince Philip and his royal consort on the occasion of their visit to Thailand to lead an economic mission during 16-22 March 2012.
