The Royal Thai Embassy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Center of Fine Arts (Bozar) of Belgium, organized the Khon (masked dance drama) “Ramakien”

The Royal Thai Embassy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Center of Fine Arts (Bozar) of Belgium, organized the Khon (masked dance drama) “Ramakien”, episode of the Abduction of Sita & the Battle Scene on 20 May  2014 from 20.00 – 21.30 hrs. at BOZAR. The Khon classical Thai dance aims to introduce and promote Thai arts and culture to the Belgium. Both Thai and Belgian members of the audience were impressed by the performance with full lighting and sound using modern techniques.

At the end of the performance, Ambassador Nopadol Gunavibool and Mr. Gerd Van Looy, Performing Arts Manager, BOZAR presented bouquets to  Ms. Vantanee Moungboon and Miss Nuntiya Swangvudthitham, Inspector General of the Ministry of Culture, respectively. Following the performance in Brussels, the dance troupe from the Ministry of Culture will perform in The Hague on 23 and 26 May, and in London on 31 May 2014.
