On 2 October 2014 Ambassador Nopadol Gunavibool and his wife hosted a farewell dinner in honour of Colonel Nuttapong Praokeaw, Military Attache in Belgium, and his wife at the Residence on the occasion of the completion of his tour of duty. Distinguished guests from the Belgium Armed forces included Lieutenant General Philippe Grosdent, Aide-de-Camp to H.M. the King, and his wife, and Commanding Officer Jean-Marc Leroy and his wife. Officers from the Royal Thai Embassy also joined the dinner.
