On 26 October 2014 Minister Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Chargé d’Affaires, presided over the Offering Ceremony of the Royal Kathin Robe, graciously bestowed by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, at Buddharama Temple.
Kathin is a Buddhist festival which takes place at the end of the rainy season. The Kathin festival can be held within a one month period, beginning after the full moon of the eleventh month in the lunar calendar (usually October). New robes are customarily offered to monks.
