On 10 November 2014 Ambassador Nopadol Gunavibool and his wife hosted dinner in honour of Mrs. Dusadee Banomyong Boontasanakul and Suanplu Chorus during their visit to Belgium. The Suanplu Chorus were part of the “One Thousand Voices for Peace” Project organized by the Flanders Festival Brussels during 4-11 November 2014 to mark the 100th anniversary of the beginning of World War I and as a homage to peace.
On 9 November 2014 Suanplu Chorus joined 16 other foreign choirs and 22 Belgian choirs in a final concert at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, which was attended by King Philippe and Queen Mathilde. Suanplu Chorus also performed on 5 November 2014 at Saint-Nicolas’ Church, Ghent with the Furiant Chamber.
