On 6 April 2016, H.E. Ambassador Busaya Mathelin presented to H.E. Mr. Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, the Letters of Credence accrediting her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Head of Mission of the Kingdom of Thailand to the European Union and to the European Atomic Energy Community. On this occasion, Ambassador Mathelin exchanged views with the President of European Council on Thailand-European Union relations, including an update on Thailand’s political reforms, efforts to combat IUU fishing and eliminate all forms of forced labor in the fishing industry and Thailand’s coordinatorship of ASEAN-EU relations.
