On 7 September 2017, H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand to the Kingdom of Belgium, paid a courtesy call on Mrs. Claire Tillekaerts, CEO of Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT). Both sides discussed about cooperation on investment and trade between Thailand and Flanders (about 90% of Belgium’s trade with Thailand come from Flanders region) which both sides work closely together throughout the year both in Belgium and in Thailand (FIT has its office in the Belgian Embassy in Thailand). They also discussed about the possible activities for next year to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Signing of the Treaty of Amity and Commerce between Thailand and Belgium.
