On 16 November 2017, H.E. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand, hosted dinner at the Royal Thai Residence in honour of Associate Professor Pongpan Kaewtatip, Director of the Industry Division, Thailand Research Fund (TRF) as well as representatives from Medical and Engineering Departments of Thailand higher education institutions during their visit to Belgium to promote cooperation between Thailand and Belgium in the field of technology and innovation related to medical devices during 16-17 November 2017.
The dinner reception was also attended by Professor Peter Lievens, Vice Rector on International Policy and League of European Research Universities (LERU) and Professor Rik Gosselink, Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences Department, KU Leuven. Both sides discussed possible academic cooperation, including the signing of MOU between KU Leuven and relevant institutions/agencies in Thailand, which covers joint research, exchange of academia/researchers, Double Degree Agreement, and other academic activities.
