On 22 December 2017, Count Gerald Van Der Straten Ponthoz, Chairman of the Chao Phya Abhai Raja Siammanukulkij Foundation, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand at the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels. Both sides discussed about the cooperation on activities to mark the 150th Anniversary of the Signing of the Treaty of Amity and Commerce in 2018. For many years, the Chao Phya Abhai Raja Siammanukulkij Foundation has been working closely with the Belgian Embassy in Bangkok to promote friendship between Thailand and Belgium in Thailand.
