Representatives of the Royal Thai Embassy invited by the local authorities of Perwez as a preparation of the “Sawasdee Thailand Festival in Perwez”

On 27 April 2018, Ms. Siriporn Supanimitwisetkul, Minister Counsellor and 2 representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels were invited by the local authorities of Perwez as a preparation of the “Sawasdee Thailand Festival in Perwez”. With Mr. Carl Cambron, Mayor in Function of Perwez and his team, they visited in the morning the “IFAPME” which is a vocational training center for people who are willing to learn more for a new job. In the afternoon the delegation went to the the local brewery “Valduc” for a factory tour and beer tasting. It was impressive for the delegation to see the well-organized warm welcome the Embassy received. It is an honour that cities in Wallonia take the initiative to organize a Thai festival as well as being more symbolic this year to celebrate the 150 year of friendship between Belgium and Thailand.

“Sawasdee Thailand Festival in Perwez” will take place on 12 May 2018 at the Hall Omnisport in Perwez. You can follow the event on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/Sawasdee-Thailand-in-Perwez-2045698285685626/
