The Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg organized a business seminar “Discover the business potential of Thailand and Indonesia”

On 4 July 2018, the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg organized a business seminar “Discover the business potential of Thailand and Indonesia” which was attended by H.E. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand to Luxembourg, and representatives of Team Thailand such as Director of Investment Office from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Frankfurt, representative from office of Tourism Authority of Thailand in Paris and officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels who also presented about business opportunities in Thailand for Luxembourgish companies, Thailand’s investment policies such as Thailand 4.0 and Eastern Economic Corridor (ECC), and tips on the cultural approach to business in Thailand. There was also a testimonial by B Medical Company, a Luxembourgish company already active in the Thailand, who shared experiences of doing business in Thailand. The Ambassador of Indonesia and his teams from various offices also attended and presented on their parts. On this occasion, the Ambassador invited Luxembourg companies to join the economic mission to Thailand and Indonesia in October, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg, to explore business opportunities in Thailand, especially in the EEC area.

The purpose of the seminar was to introduce Thailand and Indonesia to the members of the Chamber of Commerce in order to prepare for the economic mission to both countries in October. The event attended by around 40 participants from various sectors including logistics, ICT, medical products, textile, dairy industries and finance, most of which expressed their interest in joining the economic mission to Thailand.
