On 4 Dec 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted a reception to celebrate Thailand’s National Day, the Birthday of His Majesty the Late King Bumibhol Adulyadej and Thailand’s Father’s Day. This year’s reception was graced by the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Lea, and honoured by other dignitaries and distinguished guests from the Belgian federal, regional and city governments, the European Parliament, Council and Commission, the diplomatic community, Friends of Thailand and representatives of the Thai community.
A day prior to the reception, the Royal Thai Embassy also convened a merit making ceremony in honour of His Majesty the Late King of Thailand at a Thai Temple, Wat Thai Dhammaram (Waterloo).
