On 4 April 2019, H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the EU joined other ASEAN Ambassadors in a panel discussion “Making ASEAN Economic Community a Global Destination”. The discussion was part of the ASEAN Trade and Investment Forum organized by the ASEAN Brussels Committee, the first event of its kind in Brussels. The Forum showcased ASEAN as the new engine of growth and a land of opportunity. Keynote speakers included Mr. Filip Deraedt, Deputy Head of South, South-East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand Unit, DG TRADE, Hon. Mr. Eddy Bevers, Mayor of Willebroek, and Dr. Julia Tijaja, Director of ASEAN Integration Monitoring Directorate, ASEAN Secretariat, and featured presentations by investment promotion agencies from all 10 ASEAN countries.
