Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) was invited by the European Commission to attend and organize an exhibition at the European Development Days (EDD19) during 18 – 19 June 2019 at Tour & Taxis exhibition center in Brussels, an annual event organized by the European Commission to promote dialogue and exchanges of ideas, experience, know-how, and best practices among national and international development agencies, NGOs, and young leaders under this year’s theme of “Addressing inequalities: Building a world which leaves no one behind”.
The exhibition showcased Thailand’s bilateral and tri-lateral development projects and provided insights on the “Sufficiency Economy and Business Promotion in the Agricultural Sector” trilateral project in Timor Leste that was conducted in partnership with Germany under the concept “SEP for SDGs”. It also provided an opportunity to meet with relevant stakeholders as well as EU representatives to pave way for future development cooperation between Thailand and the EU, notably trilateral projects to provide assistance to third countries.
