On 25 September 2019, H.E. Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium and Luxembourg and Head of Mission of Thailand to the European Union, participated in the EU-Asia Financial Services Round Table Lunch organized by Afore Consulting, where he shared his view on ASEAN-EU relations as well as Thailand’s priorities as the Chair of ASEAN and discussed the current state of global economy.
The EU-Asia Financial Services Round Table promotes a common understanding of the regulatory issues facing financial markets participants in Europe and Asia, whilst serving as a helpful platform for European and Asian policy makers and stakeholders to engage in a dialogue. The Round Table also supports the development of regulatory best practices and a level playing field in financial services regulation in Europe and Asia. Members of the EU-Asia Financial Services Round Table include AIG, DTCC, HSBC, London Stock Exchange, IHS Markit, Moody’s, CME Group, City of London Cooperation, Refinitiv (formerly Thomson Reuters) and Standard Chartered.
