Announcement Royal Thai Embassy, Brussels Re: Adjustment of Consular Service date and hours No.1/2563
Due to the spread of Corona virus (COVID-19), the Government of Belgium has enforced series of measures to slow the spread of the virus and protect the vulnerable which will be in force until 3 April 2020.
The Royal Thai Embassy, Brussels would like to inform that:
1. From 18 March 2020, the Consular Section will be opened only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Appointment is required for the Submission of all Applications, details as follows:
1.1 Visa service

2. Procedure for making an appointment
2.1 Request an appointment via telephone 02 640 6810 (Monday-
Friday at 09.00-17.00) or consular@thaiembassy.be You will receive a confirmation e-mail on the date and time of the appointment from the Embassy. Please show the confirmation e-mail to the Receptionist on the date of appointment.
2.2 In order to keep the area inside the building less crowded with people and to adopt improved hygiene measures, we strictly ask all applications to complete their application form before coming to the Embassy and avoid spending time preparing or sorting documents inside the premise. All application forms can be found on our website (www.thaiembassy.be > consular section) or contact consular@thaiembassy.be to obtain the form.
3. Measures at the Embassy
In order to implement Belgium’s Ministry of
Health’s recommendations to slow the spread of corona virus, the Embassy implements the following measures:
3.1 Only 1 person is allowed to enter through the reception hallway at
a time (except for special circumstances ie unaccompanied child or person with disability in need of accompanied person)
3.2 To reduce the crowd inside the premise, we ask for your cooperation to remain at the designated waiting area until your queue is ready
3.3 People who are sick should avoid coming to the Embassy. Only for
emergency cases that his/her presence is required at the Embassy, a mask must be worn.
