On 19 September 2020, Miss Suchada Maktara, Minister Counsellor, Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, delivered an opening remark on behalf of the Ambassador at Thai Market event in Laakdal organized by UniTrips. This is the first Thai festival event this year and the organizer had put in place relevant hygiene and social distancing measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19. Thai market event in Laakdal consists of Thai market and musical performances, as well as cultural dance shows.
The Embassy also set up a Consular Service desk at the event and provided information to Thai and Non-Thai nationals about current measures for travels to Thailand in the COVID-19 situation.
