On 19 May 2021, H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand, met with Mr. Karel Vinck, a Belgian businessmen and former Coordinator of the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) of the European Commission, at the Royal Thai Embassy. They exchanged views on ways to promote railway cooperation between the EU and ASEAN in order to strengthen regional connectivity.
