On 13 July 2021, H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium, visited the headquarters of Soudal Group in Turnhout, one of the largest independent European manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and polyurethane foams for professional and private construction with a sales office in Thailand. During the visit, the Ambassador met with both Baron Swerts, the company’s founder and Chairman, and Mr. Dirk Coorevitis, its Managing Director, and discussed Soudal’s business operation in Thailand and the Asian region as well as opportunities for the company to expand its investment in Thailand. After the meeting, Mr. Emmanuel De Smedt, Regional Director for South and Southeast Asia of Soudal, accompanied the Ambassador and his delegation to visit the company’s facilities, including its production facilities, distribution center, and research and innovation center. This visit concluded with Baron Swerts hosting a luncheon for the Ambassador and his delegation at the company’s guesthouse.
