On 22 July 2021, at 10.00-12.00 hours, H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand and Head of Mission of Thailand to the European Union (EU), co-chaired a meeting between the ASEAN Brussels Committee (ABC) and Mr. Gunnar Wiegand, Managing Director for Asia-Pacific, of the European External Action Service (EEAS) at the EEAS headquarter. The two sides exchanged views on the EU’s Strategy for Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific and discussed important developments in both regions as well as ways to further promote cooperation in areas of mutual benefit.
