On 11 August 2021, H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand, participated in and gave the opening remarks at the virtual activity “Women Away Day and Mobile Consular Service Belgium & Luxembourg 2021”. Mrs. Chantana Seelsorn, Counselor and Consul, of the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, also participated and representatives of the civil society organization, OASIS Belgium, moderated the event. The activity was jointly organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels and OASIS Belgium to offer encouragement and advice to Thai women nationals living abroad about self-care as well as how to adjust to living abroad. Moreover, it provided better knowledge and understanding of consular services as well as responded to questions and concerns on consular matters. Over 100 people participated in this event, mainly Thai women nationals living in Belgium, Luxembourg and other European countries.
