On 19 August 2021, H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand, met with Miss Emma Gooding, Director, and other representatives of the civil society organization Oasis Belgium at the Royal Thai Embassy. Mrs. Chantana Seelsorn, Counsellor and Consul of the Royal Thai Embassy, also participated in the discussion. The two sides discussed Oasis’s ongoing activities and projects in assisting members of the Thai community in Belgium who are experiencing societal challenges. In this regard, the Ambassador contributed a cash donation of 50,000 baht to support the organization’s work. Oasis was established in 1985 in the UK and now works with communities in 11 countries in Africa, Asia, North America, and Europe in providing assistance to communities experiencing difficulties with the goal of integrating them into society.
