On 25 August 2021, H.E Mr. Sek Wannameth, Ambassador of Thailand and Head of Mission to the EU, hosted a luncheon at the Ambassador’s Residence to congratulate H.E. Mr. David Daly on his impending departure to take up his duties as the Ambassador of the EU to Thailand, as well as to welcome Mrs. Barbara Plinkert, Ambassador and newly-appointed Head of Southeast Asia Division of the EEAS. On this occasion, Ambassadors and representatives of the ASEAN Brussels Committee (ABC) also attended. During the lunch, both sides exchanged views on promoting cooperation in various areas under the ASEAN-EU Strategic Partnership.
