On 22 February 2022, H.E Mr. Jorge Camões, Ambassador of Timor Leste, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand, on the occasion of the former’s assumption of duty. The Ambassadors discussed Thailand-Timor-Leste bilateral relations and the latter’s relationship with ASEAN as well as regional situation. They also discussed the role of the ASEAN Brussels Committee (ABC) in promoting ASEAN-EU Strategic Partnership, especially this year which marks the 45 Anniversary of ASEAN-EU relations and where an ASEAN-EU Commemorative Summit will be organized in Brussels.
