On 25 March 2022, His Excellency Mr. Sek Wannathee, Ambassador and Head of Mission of Thailand to the European Union (EU), joined other Ambassadors of ASEAN member countries in Brussels in meeting with Dr. Kunio Mikuriya, Secretary-General of the World Customs Union (WCO), and his team at the WCO headquarters. The two sides discussed priorities the WCO and ways to advance ASEAN-WCO cooperation in key areas, including curbing the trafficking of counterfeit and substandard COVID-19 vaccines and other medicines. On this occasion, a representative of the Thailand’s Customs Affairs Office in Brussels attended this meeting with the Ambassador.
