On 29 April 2022, H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand, attended a working lunch hosted by Mr. Andries Gryffroy, Vice President of the Belgian Senate and President of Belgium-Thailand Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group, and Mr. George Dallemagne, Member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives and Vice President of the Belgium-Thailand Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group, at the Flemish Parliament in Brussels. On this occasion, both sides discussed ways to reinvigorate bilateral relations after the COVID-19 pandemic, including following-up on the pending visit to Thailand by members of Belgium-Thailand Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group scheduled for later this year. Both sides also discussed possible programmes and activities for this visit. Additionally, they discussed ways to strengthen economic and business cooperation as well as exchange views on regional issues of mutual interest.
