On Sunday 15 May 2022, H.E. Mr Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand, accompanied by his spouse, presided over the Visakha Puja (Vesak) Day ceremony at Dhammapateep Temple in Mechelen, together with the Abbot of Dhammapateep Temple.
The event featured religious ceremonies, such as offering food and alms to the monks, praying, and listening to the Dhamma sermon, as well as Thai food stalls . Around 50 Thais and foreigners attended the event.
