On 5 May 2023, H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand, met with Mr. Chris Humphrey, Executive Director, Mr. Noel Clehane, Member of the Executive Board, and Ms. Liyana Othman, Advocacy Director, of the EU-ASEAN Business Council at the Royal Thai Embassy. The Ambassador and EU-ABC exchanged views on various EU’s sustainability initiatives, their potential impact on ASEAN countries and how to enhance dialogue with EU institutions in order to ensure a balance between sustainability objectives and free trade.
