NEW THAILAND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
(effective from 18.00 hrs, 21 March 2020, Central European Time, at the time of check-in at the airport of departure)
For foreigners entering Thailand:
As from 18.00 hrs. (CET), 21 March 2020, travellers of all nationalities (except Thai) flying from Brussels to Thailand need to present the following documents to the air operators at check-in:
1. Health certificate certifying that the passengers “pose no risk of being infected by the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)”, issued no more than 72 hours prior to the date of travel.
2. Health insurance/health insurance policy that shows minimum medical coverage of 100,000 USD in Thailand and covers the Covid-19 Disease.
If the passenger is unable to present the required above documents, the air operator will not issue a boarding pass and the boarding will be denied, in accordance with the latest the Notification of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand on Practical Guideline for Air Operators Performing Flights into the Kingdom of Thailand (as of 19 March 2020)
>>> For Foreign passengers transiting Thailand to the third country with transit time no more than 24 hours, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand gives a special exemption from the above-mentioned documents. Only the Fit to Fly health certificate issued no more than 72 hours prior to the date of travel is required upon the check-in. The Exemption is effective until 31 March 2020, 23.59 Thailand Local time.
