Request of a Thai birth certificate

-> Concerning

– Child born in Belgium or in Luxembourg

– AND born from a Thai mother and a non-Thai father

Documents required:

From the child:

• (a) International birth certificate (4 languages)

-> To be legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (rue des Petits Carmes 27, 1000 Brussels)

• (b)    A copy of the document gotten from the hospital that declares the birth and the exact name of the hospital, the weight of the child and the date and time of birth

From the parents:

• (b) Wedding certificate

a) If married in Thailand : Copy of the certificate

b) If married in Belgium : International wedding certificate

-> To be legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (rue des Petits Carmes 27, 1000 Brussels)

From the mother:

c) A copy of the Thai identity card

d) A copy of the Thai passport

e) A copy of the permit of residence in Thailand (Tabian Baan)

From the father:

f) A copy of the Belgian or Luxembourg identity card

g) A copy of the Belgian or Luxembourg passport

h) A copy of the certificate of residence in Belgium or Luxembourg
