On 12 April 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to Belgium, paid a courtesy call on Archbishop Franco Coppola, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Apostolic Nuncio to Belgium, to introduce herself on the occasion of her assumption of duty. Both sides discussed the close relationship between Thailand and the Vatican. Ambassador-designate also expressed her readiness to cooperate and assist the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in carrying out his work and looks forward to participating in activities of the diplomatic corps in Brussels.
